Keri Simms and Frank Canales obtained summary judgment in their clients’ favor in a wrongful death case in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama. Simms and Canales proved as a matter of law that their clients actions did not proximately cause the death of the decedent and that their client’s inability to speak English was immaterial to the allegations against him.
