Congratulations to Scott Sasser and Scott Speagle! They obtained a defense verdict on October 30, 2020 in Baldwin county in a premises liability case. The Plaintiff asked for an award of $1 million but the jury found that an open and obvious condition barred recovery for the plaintiff and ruled in the defendant’s favor.

The plaintiffs alleged termite damages in excess of $900,000 on claims of fraud, suppression, breach of contract, negligence, wantonness and Alabama Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
